This cheesecake recipe comes from a family friend. I've made it so many times that people call it "Alicia's Cheesecake" but I cannot take the credit for this incredible recipe. Anyway, I'm making it for Melissa's baby shower and it is so easy to shop for the ingredients when I can pull up my blog from the grocery store. Enjoy!!

I can't WAIT to eat this tomorrow!
This looks awesome!! One question: can you taste the sour cream? I would love to make this but Ron doesn't like sour cream. If it's not noticeable though, I might not tell him it was in there..... lol
You can definitely see the sour cream and taste that the topping is different than the cake. I don't think the sour cream flavor is very strong (because the sugar and vanilla extract kind of hide it), but if I were making this for him I would definitely add a little more sugar to the topping layer.
thanks! Maybe I could have a completely different topping altogether... like strawberries or something lol
I like that this recipe doesn't look so complicated. Cheesecake recipes have always made me nervous. I've never made one for that reason lol
